Radio Setup

Radio with full functionality:

(1) Set up a digital trim assigned to CH3 (AUX) as 3 position (-100, 0, +100) (this will be your DIG control).
(2) Set up another digital trim assigned to CH3 (AUX) as a step (10 should be a good start) (this will be your bias control).

Radio with 3-position switch:

(1) Set up a digital trim assigned to CH3 (AUX) as 3 position (-100, 0, +100) (this will be your DIG control).

Radio with 2-position switch:

(1) Set up a digital trim assigned to CH3 (AUX) as 2 position (+100, 0) (this will be your DIG control).

Adapter

Adapter Setup:

(1) With throttle at neutral, adjust 1st trim pot until red LED lights up.
(2) With CH3 at 0, adjust 2nd trim pot until yellow LED lights up.
(3) Adjust 3rd trim pot all the way counter-clockwise
(4) With CH3 at -100, adjust the 3rd trim pot clockwise until the green LED lights up.
(5) With CH3 at +100, make sure the green LED is still lit up, otherwise adjust the trim pot a bit more clockwise.

Adapter Indicators:

Red LED: Throttle is neutral
Yellow LED: Bias is equal front/rear (use this when setting up your ESCs)
Green LED: Bias is all the way at one end or the other (front or rear dig)


Tips:

Ground and Power are common to all 4 leads on the adapter. Plan your BEC accordingly as you normally would.

ESC Calibration: Start with the above setup. Set CH3 to the middle. NOW go ahead and calibrate your ESCs. DON'T pre-calibrate your ESCs, please do it with the adapter in place after following the steps above.

Make sure your MOA is capable of full throttle control, full dig and adjustable proportion.

Then you can adjust the following:
When CH3 is set to the middle, would you like a different proportion? Go ahead and adjust the Proportional Trim pot to your desired setting. It is OK if the YELLOW light goes out, that was for initial setup. You may need to re-adjust the DIG Threshold pot to ensure that the GREEN LED will light up at CH3's extremes.

Do you wish the proportional control was a bit more powerful (less clicks of your linear adjustment)? The DIG Threshold pot also acts as a Proportional Gain adjustment. The more you turn this pot clockwise, the more power your CH3 linear adjust ment will have.
