Purpose:
This is a very simple menu/parameter. It's sole purpose is to display the current firmware revision installed on the radio
How to access this sub menu:
The Firmware Version menu/parameter is accessible from the the Global Menu. It should be the first mini menu upon entering the Global Menu. However, if it is not scroll till there is an F shown on the seven segment display.
- Starting from the Home Screen
- Press enter-LONG
- Scroll till F is shown on the seven segment display
How to use this menu:
This menu does not offer any parameters to be changed. It simply shows the firmware revision currently installed on the 3 character dot display.
Screen Indicators:
While the Firmware Version Mini Menu is open, the following should occur
- The Model and Name icon at the top of the screen will be flashing back and forth
- While the firmware version is displayed, there should be a flashing F in the seven segment display
Other Noteworthy information:
This parameter is extremely important to know when asking for help. All the firmware revisions are different and the person helping needs to know what revision you are using.
