The home screen for the 0.6.1 firmware comes on right after power up and is generally the screen that is active while the radio is being used. If another screen is displayed just press back or end afew times. The home screen has 4 different objects that can be displayed; the transmitter battery voltage, the current model name (well acronym), timer 1 and timer 2. While the battery voltage or the model name is displayed, an enter-long maneuver will open the global menu (Please see the global menu article for more info). Below is a description of each object that can be displayed.
Transmitter Battery Voltage:
This displays the current battery voltage of the transmitter....which is handy so one can keep track of the voltage and know the battery won't die at an undesirable time.
Enter-LONG will bring up the global menu and enter-SHORT will bring up the main menu.
Model Name:
This will display the acronym saved for the current model that is selected.
Enter-LONG will bring up the global menu and enter-SHORT will bring up the main menu.
Timer 1:
This displays the current time on timer 1...and is identified with a "left arrow" above the 3 digit display. Timers are useful to keep track of lap times, lap count, or as a countdown timer.
Enter-LONG will bring up the timer 1 menu (Please see the timer article for more info) and enter-SHORT will bring up the main menu.
Timer 2:
This displays the current time on timer 2...and is identified with a "right arrow" above the 3 digit display. Timers are useful to keep track of lap times, lap count, or as a countdown timer.
Enter-LONG will bring up the timer 2 menu (Please see the timer article for more info) and enter-SHORT will bring up the main menu.
