Screen Indicators:

While the Trim Menu is open, the following should occur

  • Trim in the top menu bar is lit up and "Channel:" on the left will be lit up
  • If in channel selection, the 7 segment number will be blinking. This is the active channel
  • If adjusting the trim, the 3 character dot display will be blinking the current trim amount
  • If adjusting the steering trim, there will be a L or R prefix in the 3 character display. This indicates trimming in the Left vs Right direction
  • If adjusting the throttle trim, there will be a F or B prefix in the 3 character display. This indicates trimming in the Forward vs Backwards direction

Other Noteworthy information:

Trim should only be used for quick adjustments. Trim adjusts the center of channel and will cause more servo throw one way and less throw the other way. For long term adjustment, use the SUB-TRIM menu. Sub-trim adjusts center by moving the end points, so there will always be the same amount throw in both directions.
